Preschool Manager | Kind Hearts Early Education
£15-£18 per hour, depending on experience | Term-time only | St Georges Church Site.
We are looking for someone who wants to do more than simply manage a preschool.
We want a leader who knows their children, knows their families and knows their team. Someone who notices the little things, celebrates great practice, tackles the things that are not good enough and helps the people around them grow.
Our Preschool Manager will not lead from behind a desk. You will be present in the setting, working alongside your team, maintaining high standards and making sure every child experiences the warm, engaging and inclusive early education that Kind Hearts stands for.
About Kind Hearts
Kind Hearts Early Education is an established provider with two Good Ofsted-rated preschools and a growing nursery provision. Our approach is child-led, inclusive and rooted in strong relationships with children and families.
Our values are Partnership, Kindness, Excellence, Growth, Curiosity and Inclusion - visible in how we work with children and how we lead our teams.
The role
· Lead the day-to-day operation of an established preschool and take genuine ownership of its standards and culture.
· Be a visible, hands-on leader who understands what is happening across the setting.
· Lead, coach and develop staff while setting clear expectations and holding people appropriately accountable.
· Maintain excellent safeguarding, welfare, SEND and inclusive practice.
· Drive the quality of education through strong interactions, child-led practice and reflective improvement.
· Build trusting partnerships with families and work effectively with external professionals.
· Balance excellent early years practice with safe, compliant and sustainable preschool operations.
We would love to hear from you if you...
· hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above;
· have significant early years experience and management or substantial senior leadership experience;
· understand the EYFS and what high-quality, child-centred practice looks like;
· can support and develop people while also addressing poor or inconsistent practice;
· have strong safeguarding knowledge and professional curiosity;
· value SEND, inclusion and genuine partnership with families; and
· want to lead an established setting forward rather than simply keep it running.
What we offer
£15-£18 per hour depending on experience, term-time working, pension, private healthcare, paid lunch breaks, professional development and genuine opportunities for progression as Kind Hearts grows.
