Leanne has worked with us since our opening in 2016. Previous to that she had worked in preschool settings for 8 years. With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Leanne made her way through the ranks and now supports both our sites in the day to day running and SEN procedure. Leanne is passionate about making the environment as welcoming as possible and is always searching for new interesting items to add. Leanne loves creating learning opportunities for the children and is always ready to join their imaginative play whether thats a trip to the hair salon or going on a bear hunt! Toni has lots of experience in the Early Education industry and joined our team after taking some time off to have a family of her own. Toni loves exploring the garden with the children and joining their adventures! Toni celebrates every child's acheivements, no matter how small! Toni also attended the Early literacy Skills training and works closely with Lisa to educate her colleagues and our families about how important early literacy skills are. Jenny joined our team in 2021 and after showing her potential as an early years educator, began her course which she will complete very soon. Jenny is our creative genius and loves helping the children create masterpieces in our craft and junk modelling area, she also makes lots of beautiful resources for our classroom. Jenny is compassionate and intuitive making her excellent at at supporting children through difficult emotions and helping them to find a solution to their problems. Paula O'DellAssistant Early Years EducationSafeguarding Level 1, Autism Awareness.Paula was keen to work with children after raising her family. She has a particular love for watching children grow and learn and being a part of helping them meet developmental milestones. Paula can often be found at the play dough station helping the children to create and explore and enjoys the occassional tea party with the children.. Elisha DisburyLevel 3 Early Years EducatorFirst Aid, Safeguarding Level 2, Autism AwarenessBishops Hall. Elisha joined our team after working in a Nursery setting for a number of years. Elisha loves finding ways to extend children's play and capitalising on learning opportunities that arise from this. She recognises how important it is to use a child's interest to get the most out of them and help them reach their goals and next steps. Debbie MarshallTrainee Level 3 Early Years EducatorSafeguarding Level 1, First Aid, Autism Awareness. St Georges Debbie is an integral part of the Kind Hearts Team. She is our chief paper aeroplane maker but more importantly than that, Debbie takes pride in celebrating all of the children's triumphs. She is the first person they will run to when they acheive something new! Debbie often draws on her experience as a mum to 3 wonderful boys to help the children in our care. She uses techniques she has learned through parenthood and through working with us to meet every child's needs in a develepmentally appropriate way. She always takes the time to talk through situations with children and help them maximise their learning opportunities. Nicola WilmsenAssistant Early Years EducatorFirst Aid, Safeguarding Level 2, Autism Awareness, Level 3 Phonics.Bishops Hall. Nicola joined our team after working in another nursery setting. She is passionate about early communication skills and often brings in activities tailored to the children's needs to help with their early language development. She also shows a real enthusiasm for working with children with additional needs and is always looking for ways to help support their learning and development. Nicola always tells an enthralling story and is particularly talented at song time! Emily ProcterLevel 3 Early Years EducatorSafeguarding Level 1, Autism awarenessSt Georges. Emily is one of our newest team members. She took some time off from Early Education to have her children but was itching to get back as soon as they were old enough. She has taken to her role like a duck to water and in the short time she has been with us, she has built excellent relationships with all the children and her colleagues and has already started to implement various techniques to help her key children reach their full potential and really integrate in to the preschool community. Laura DeedLevel 3 Early Years EducatorFirst Aid, Safeguarding Level 2, Autism Awareness. Bishops Hall Laura joined our team in January 2020, she joined us to help with our snack time but was such a natural with the children we offered her more hours as soon as we could! Laura is set to complete her course any time now although she already shows the experience and knowledge of someone who is qualified. Laura sees all of our children as capable learners and is there to support them if they need it but loves to encourage them to be independant. She will always think of ways to adapt the task to help them acheive their goals. Lucy WattsAssistant Early Years EducatorSafeguarding Level 1, First Aid, Autism awarenessBishops Hall Lucy joined our team after her daughter started school and she wanted a role in which she felt she could make a positive difference in children's lives. Lucy strives to learn all she can from her colleagues and supports the children in our setting reach their learning and development goals. You can always find her reading stories with the children and joining their role playing games. . Kalpana GunalanLevel 3 Early Years EducatorSafeguarding Level 1St Georges. Kalpana joined our team in 2022 and is keen to start her Level 3 Early education course. Since joining the team, Kalpana has shown enthusiasm for learning all she can about child development and how she can support children in our care. Kalpana is naturally in tune to the children's wants and needs and uses these to get the most out of the children. She is committed to supporting them reach their goals and try new things.
